My first steps towards fiction writing!!

It was never like I ever dreamt to be a writer. But the instinctive feeling to hold a pen and scribble something unknown on a piece of paper had always perished in my subconsciousness.
For some long lone hours, when you find no one to sit around and chat, I found a way to talk and worrying less about the person's reaction or response. Henceforth, the journey to hold the pen and to start writing began!
I've heard that mostly professional writers plan before writing a 50 to 80 thousand words long book; but I had no intentional outline in my mind before I started penning down my story. It basically all began with a thought that stroke me once on a winter eve while sitting on my easy couch and wondering how a perfectly peaceful life could change to something exciting and life threatening. The possibilities led me to wonder what if an unknown force enters your serene lifestyle and turn it completely topsy turvy. What could really make a simple middle aged house wife who generally believes that bringing up kids and trying to manage her household to some extend of perfection, really cheat on her husband and ruin the smooth living?
I grabbed my pen and searched the diary gifted by my husband a few months ago and penned down the situation on the first page. I read the paragraph several times trying to put myself into the place and wonder what could possibly change my idea of a perfect marriage.
Days passed and I found myself turning obsessive with the story. All I could think about was what could be next. At night, I used to finish my chores and grab my diary and pen and used to look for a quiet corner in the house to sit and write. Mostly my dressing or my bath tub used to serve the purpose.....
Once my fingers held the pen, I had no idea what would be the outcome. But my pen never left my confidence and in a span of six months it satisfactorily produced my maiden book, THE GIFTED ANALOGY.
